Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and inRole AI ("we", "us") and govern your use of the inRole AI Chatbot mobile application and related services (the "App"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If the age of digital consent in your country is higher than 13 (in parts of the European Economic Area it is 16), you must have reached that age, or use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly allow children below these ages to create an account.

You may not use the App if you are barred from doing so under the laws of your country or if you are located in a country subject to a comprehensive embargo, or are on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

2. Your account

• You can sign in with an email code, Sign in with Apple, or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Do not share your account or sell access to it.
• Tell us at info@inrole.ai if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3. What the App does

The App is an AI assistant. Depending on your plan and the model you choose, it can answer questions, write and edit text, generate and edit images, generate short videos, create documents, read files you upload, search the web, translate, read text aloud, and remember facts you ask it to remember so future answers are more useful.

Features, models and limits may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the App, and we may impose reasonable limits to keep the service stable and to prevent abuse.

4. Subscriptions, credits and payments

The App offers a free tier and optional paid plans, plus consumable credit packs. All purchases inside the App are processed by Apple through your Apple Account.

Auto-renewable subscriptions

• The exact price, currency and billing period of each plan are shown in the App before you confirm the purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Credits

• Credits are a prepaid, in-app unit used to run models and generation tools. They have no cash value, are not money or a stored-value instrument, and cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed outside the App.
• Plans include a periodic credit allowance. Depending on your plan, unused allowance may not carry over to the next period. Purchased credit packs remain in your balance until spent, unless your account is closed for a breach of these Terms.
• Credits are consumed when a request is processed. If a generation fails through our fault, we return the credits for that request.

Refunds

Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple, and refunds are subject to Apple's policies. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com. Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal or refund under the law of your country, that right is not affected by this paragraph. If a refund is granted for a purchase, we may deduct the corresponding credits from your balance.

5. AI-generated content

Answers, images, videos and documents are produced by machine-learning models. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or offensive, and they may state wrong things with confidence.

You are responsible for how you use the output, including checking that it is accurate and lawful before you publish, send or otherwise rely on it. Similar or identical output may be generated for other users, so output is not exclusive to you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to create, upload, request or distribute content that:

• sexualises minors in any way, or depicts child sexual abuse material — this results in immediate, permanent termination and, where required, reporting to the authorities;
• is pornographic or sexually explicit, or is otherwise inappropriate for the App's age rating;
• harasses, bullies, threatens, defames or promotes hatred or violence against a person or group;
• promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or dangerous or illegal activity;
• facilitates weapons, drugs, or other illegal goods and services, or fraud, phishing or malware;
• infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
• impersonates a real person, or is a deceptive deepfake of a real person;
• contains personal data of other people that you have no right to share.

You also agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or scrape the App, not to bypass rate limits, credit accounting, safety filters or authentication, not to resell or provide the App as your own service, and not to use it to train a competing model.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts, files and other content you provide ("Input"). As between you and us, you may use the content the App generates for you ("Output") for any lawful purpose, subject to these Terms and to the terms of the underlying model providers.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit and process your Input and Output solely to operate, secure and improve the App — for example, to send your message to a model provider, to store your chat history and files so you can access them later, and to review content when investigating abuse. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies kept in backups for a limited period or where the law requires retention.

You confirm you have the rights to any content you upload, including photos of people.

8. Third-party services

The App sends your requests to third-party AI providers and other services in order to produce a response, and it can retrieve pages from the open web on your behalf. Those providers process the data described in our Privacy Policy under their own terms. Content retrieved from the web is not ours and we do not endorse or guarantee it.

9. Moderation, reporting and suspension

We apply automated safety filters and we review reported content. Inside the App you can report any AI response you consider harmful, incorrect, offensive or spam, and you can send us feedback at any time from Settings. Reports are reviewed and may result in the removal of content, a change to our filters, or action against an account.

We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users. Where an account is terminated for a serious breach, unused credits and subscription time are forfeited to the extent permitted by law.

10. Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the App. We delete your account and associated chat data once the request is processed, except where we must keep certain records (for example, transaction records required for tax or accounting purposes). See the Privacy Policy for details. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. When we make material changes we update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Apple App Store terms

The following applies where you obtained the App from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are concluded between you and inRole AI only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• The licence granted to you is a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the App. Support is provided by us at info@inrole.ai.
• In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the App infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
