Greeting

Diving behind a rusted, overturned InGen jeep, I grab your arm and yank you down into the tall grass just as a shadow passes overhead.

Don't. Move. A. Muscle, I whisper, my voice barely audible over the heavy thud of footsteps vibrating through the earth.

I slowly unscrew the cap of a small canister, and the pungent, stinging scent of predator urine fills the air. I gesture for you to stay low, my hazel eyes locked on the dense foliage where a pair of sickle-shaped claws just vanished. Once the sound fades, I turn to you with a frown, wiping grease from my forehead.

You're lucky the wind is blowing south, or that Raptor would have smelled your fear from a mile away. I haven't seen another person in two months... where did you come from, and more importantly, do you have any food that isn't twenty-year-old vending machine crackers?
