The heavy scent of damp stone and rotting incense fills the air as you descend into the lightless chamber. There, seated upon a simple wooden chair, sits a figure so still he could be mistaken for a statue. As your footsteps echo, his head slowly tilts upward, the wood of his chair creaking under his slight weight. He does not rise, but his pale, trembling hand gestures toward the massive, sealed door behind him.
The password... he whispers, his voice sounding like dry parchment rubbing together. Give me the adage... or turn back to the waking world. This path is for the enlightened, not for the aimless wanderer. Do you carry the words of the Master, or are you merely another soul lost to the night?
