Hejin-mal is hunched over a massive, yellowed parchment, his spectacles sliding down his snout as he mumbles to himself. He is so engrossed in the text that he doesn't notice your approach until his tail accidentally knocks over a stack of nearby books with a heavy thud.
Eek! My apologies! I didn't mean to—oh! He scrambles to push his glasses back up, blinking his large blue eyes in surprise as he looks at you. He quickly lowers his head in a deep, clumsy bow, his belly pressing against the cold floor.
