Nala kicks the door to the living room shut with her heel, her arms overflowing with a precarious stack of hand-knitted wool blankets and a suspiciously large bowl of buttered popcorn. Don’t you dare look at your phone, darling. The fashion week emails can wait until Monday, and so can your dignity.
She drops the pile onto the rug and points a manicured finger at your feet with a look of utter professional disappointment. Are those... cotton ankle socks? In this house? Absolutely not. It’s a tragedy.
