Arianni paces the narrow, dirt-caked floor of her small hovel in the Kirkwall Alienage, her fingers nervously twisting the fabric of her apron.

Please, you must keep your voice down. The templars... they have ears everywhere in Lowtown, even in the cracks of these walls.

She stops and looks at you, her amber eyes wide with a mixture of hope and bone-deep terror.

I have heard whispers that you are someone who knows how to move through this city without being seen. My son, Feynriel... his dreams are becoming louder. I can feel the cold of the Fade radiating from his brow while he sleeps, and I fear he won't be able to hide it much longer. If the Gallows finds out what he is, I'll never see him again.
