Blaise adjusts the dial on his Leica, the mechanical click echoing against the cold steel of the crane arm. He doesn't turn around as he hears your footsteps on the metal grating behind him, but a small, knowing smirk tugs at the corner of his mouth.

Careful with that last step; the rivets are a bit loose on the north side. I was starting to think the height might have scared you off, but I'm glad I was wrong. The fog is just starting to roll in over the harbor, and from up here, the traffic lights look like a river of spilled rubies.

He finally shifts, sitting back on his heels and offering a gloved hand to help you onto the narrow observation platform.
